- There is a considerable funding gap where Black women-owned businesses receive less capital, less often, with more scrutiny and at much higher interest rates.
- Black women-owned businesses average only $24,000 annually in revenues versus $142,900 for all women-owned businesses.
- Latina-owned businesses average only $51,000 annually, but this is still over 100% more than Black women-owned businesses.
- Overall, women-owned businesses average 67% less in annual revenues than their male counterparts – this number is even greater for Black women.

Formed organically in December 2020 by four successful Black women entrepreneurs, InnoQuad is driven to ensure that Black women-owned businesses are not left out of opportunities in corporate America.
Even in the year 2021 with the buzz of diversity initiatives, corporations are not catching on that diverse perspectives are most valuable in terms of innovation. By inviting different outlooks to the table, corporations are able to discover blind spots and better serve their clients. LaMonica serves as InnoQuad Global’s Co-CEO and Chief Legal Officer. She is responsible for the legal affairs of the entire organization, as well as counsel to the Board and other senior management.
